From the Artist:

"This painting represents a time of healing for warriors. The lines show a pulse, meaning you are still alive, so there is still hope! The flag in the shape of a heart represents the country we loved and served. The clouds are fog lifting and hope shining through. The shadowy figure represents this place for healing. The heart as a whole represents the heart and fight in each warrior. It is protected by the power of God. The Warriors are plain and sad from left to right and get more detailed as they heal. The one on the far right is healed and made whole again, ready to fight the good fight.
